Peer Support Specialist, Full or Part Time

Position provides rehab services and skills training to client with mental illness. Services are provided in the community, office or clients home. Candidate must have a willingess to talk about own experiences of mental illness and recovery. 

Requirements: Must have had experience, either current or past, with mental illness and successfully complete the DHS approved Certified Peer Specialist training and pass exam. Training course information is available on https://peerlinktohope.org

Mental Health Professional, Full Time
Full time Mental Health Professional licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota. This candidate will provide adult/child diagnostic assessments and psychotherapy in an outpatient setting. This may also include emergency crisis service and supervision if applicable. Candidate must have excellent verbal, written, organization, and interpersonal skills. The position offers excellent salary and benefits including loan repayment program through the National Health Service Corp. 

Duties for this position will include: providing individual, group and family psychotherapy including emergency services necessary to meet the needs of the clients.  Also, candidate will participate in all clinical meetings, cooperate with peer review process, and follows the policy/procedures pertaining to the accuracy and completion of clinical records.


Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Full Time
Upper Mississippi Mental Health Center is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with licensure in the State of Minnesota to practice independently.   Qualified candidate will work exclusively with the Headwaters ACT Team.  Must have a clear understanding of the characteristic and problems of adults with serious mental illness and be knowledgeable about the ACT model.

ACT is the Assertive Community Treatment which provides intensive, comprehensive non-residential rehabilitative mental health services throughout a team model. 

Primary duties include conducting psychiatric assessments, prescribe and monitor and administer psychotropic medication; provide medication management education to clients and present assessment results to daily team meetings. 

Position is Full Time, salary range is $100-$150k DOQ and experience. 


SAT Program Director, Full Time

Duties include daily oversight of the Sexual Abuse Treatment programming and staff providing the service. Duties include, but are not limited to, staff development and education, community education, working collaboratively with referral sources and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the licensing requirements and uphold the standards of therapeutic relationship to aid in rehabilitation and reduce recidivism.

Education requirements: at a minimum, a Bachelor's Master's Degree in the behavioral science or human service field with supervisory experience. 

Position is Full Time, salary range is $60,000 - $70,000 DOQ and experience.
