Mental Health Crisis
A mental health crisis means that an individuals behavior, emotional or psychiatric situation would likely result in a significantly reduced level of functioning. Without crisis services the individual would likely be placed in a more restricted setting such as an inpatient hospital or jail.

Crisis Response Team
We serve children, youth, adolescents and adults. Counties served by this team include: Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard and Lake of the Woods.

What We Provide

  • Immediate response to all callers on a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year basis.

  • Provides school age children, youth, adolescent, adults and parents immediate confidential support 24 hours a day.

  • Offer assessment, supportive phone counseling, crisis intervention and suicide prevention.

  • On-site emergency intervention for those experiencing a mental health crisis.

  • On-site intervention provided by a team of professionals with the goal of crisis stabilization and hospital diversion.

When you are feeling alone and don't know where to turn, we are always available for help. We work with various situations including, but not limited to, emergency mental health needs for children and adults. Crisis services will help with access to community wide resources 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

 

Community Education                                                                               Crisis services provides educational presentations and trainings on the various services we provide. Contact us today to arrange for one of our expert staff to come to your community group, school or organization.

 

Transportation Services
We provide transportation for mental health appointments within a 25 mile radius of the Bemidji clinic. An agreement must be signed prior to utilizing transportation services. 
 
Transportation needs to be arranged in advance prior to the scheduled appointment by calling the Bemidji office. Transportation is NOT guaranteed. First come, first serve basis. Please call and cancel your transportation request if it is no longer needed.
